Hello,
I am a member of the Coptic Orthodox Church and I am currently studying to be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My dream is to integrate my faith as an Orthodox Christian along with my profession, as a LMFT. I would appreciate it if any members know of any Counseling Centers which offer these type of services in which faith is a cornerstone? Secondly, in a few years what do you as Orthodox Christians feel in such a site in major cities throughout the US. Finally, are there any people who have a similar vision? I feel this is a great mission and something that is much needed for Orthodox Christians as well as a means to introduce our Mother, the Church to those who do not know Christ. I have seen many Christian Counseling sites, mostly run by Protestant Churches/Congregations, but we as Orthodox Christians are well behind in this service.
