The International Anglican Orthodox Episcopal Communion

Interesting.

Someone called "The Reverend and International Elect-Lady CeCe Brown" (the wife of the Metropolitan Archbishop) has listed under her experience: "licensed and ordained Health Minister in unbroken Apostolic Succession."

Their "bishops college" dons quite an arrangement of vestments. I spot Catholic, Anglican, Reformed, Byzantine, Syriac, and mixtures thereof! Surely this is the Universal Church.

Here's their Wikipedia entry. It has a little more about them. I am surprised they were founded in 1969.

I wonder how many thousands of members they claim to have? The ALCC (Anglican Lutheran Catholic Church) claims about 10,000 if I remember correctly.

A one, holy, catholic, apostolic, and diversely vested church indeed.

Eh, when these groups start regularly including parish listings, I'll take them more seriously.

They do have a better website than most vagantes, though.

I wonder how many thousands of members they claim to have? The ALCC (Anglican Lutheran Catholic Church) claims about 10,000 if I remember correctly.

The Wiki page brio posted earlier says they claim a million souls worldwide.

On the front page of their website, it shows their metropolitan (?) talking in front of a screen. The man in the background is the presiding bishop of the conservative union of North American continuing Anglicans seeking recognition from Canterbury contra the ECUSA.

Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

THE OPINIONS HERE MAY NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED ORTHODOX CHURCH

Cool. I feel like Huck Finn, when he learned that two ordinary-looking guys were actually a duke and a king.

Based on their website, it seems the indulge in Charismatic and "convergence" worship.  Not surprising, since their Metropolitan Archbishop has deep roots in COGIC (I still have several loved ones in that denomination).  In this respect, they seem to have some commonalities with the International Communion of the Holy Christian Orthodox Church and the so-called Christian Orthodox Church of America.
Worship is theology, so a church which brings Evangelical and Charismatic "praise & worship" into its corporate life is no longer Orthodox.  It is, by definition, heterodox.  Those "Orthodox" leaders who make theological arguments for the incorporation of heteropraxis into the life of the Church are heretics.

They describe themselves as: Ecumenical | Non-Judgmental | Independent | Convergence
A Multicultural Communion... family focused.

Who wants to send them a box of pope francis "who am I to judge" t-shirts and see what happens?
Perhaps His Holiness will invite them to participate in the "Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue Between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church" as non-judgemental specialists. Why they could be exactly what's needed for a breakthrough!

Not judging people doesn't take much effort, but in the after life there may be hell to pay.

"and for all who are Orthodox, and who hold the Catholic and Apostolic Faith, remember, O Lord, thy servants" - yet the post-conciliar RC hierarchy is tolerant of everyone and everything... except Catholic Tradition, for modernists are as salt with no taste, to be “thrown out and trampled under foot

I'd rather send them a box of Death To The World T-Shirts
