On the other hand, doctors who heavily prescribe pharmaceutical drugs are quacks.

The ancient Greeks knew that Lithium springs treated manic depression (aka bipolar disorder).

I don't think we should do this.

I'll take 'really bad ideas for a thousand, Alex'

All opinions expressed by myself are quite tragically my own, and not those of any other poster or wall hangings.

MONSANTO MONSANTO MONSANTO
DRUGS KILL DRUGS KILL DRUG KILL
DOCTORS WANT TO MURDER EVERYONE
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Doctor Norman Werther, age 73, who lives in the city of Horsham, is expected to receive an automatic 20-year federal prison term. This doctor’s jaw-dropping volume of crimes include the following:

>   184 counts of Narcotic Distribution

>   116 counts of Money-laundering

>   Six counts of Conspiracy

Since ALL doctors are drug pushers, I take it ALL Orthodox priests have child porn:

I never said "ALL."

However, the current FDA chief was an employee of Monsanto.

Maria,

I hope you realize there are good doctors out there.  I'm telling you because I know.  Doctors have been trained today to be more sensitive to the ideas patients have.  Any doctor who ridicules you in your understanding of how you wish to treat your own health does not deserve to be your doctor.  All a doctor asks is to work with him/her fully and he/she will work with you fully.  No longer should there be the mentality, "I'm the doctor, you're the patient, you do as I say."

It just pains me to see that you would think of doctors as drug pushers.  In fact, many doctors are pained to deal with a lot of "drug-seekers" among their patients, and no, I'm not talking about those who are drug-addicts in the narcotic sense of the word.  I'm talking about any patient who even thinks they're entitled for an antibiotic when they don't really need one.  And now, doctors are being trained to know when not to give meds and to fully teach their patients about their options and to be fully informed.  Otherwise, they wouldn't be called "doctors", which essentially means teachers.

Sorry for this public post, but you know that my PM system is effectively broken otherwise I would have responded by PM.  Of course, I realize that there are good doctors out there.

It was LBK and Kelly who slandered me and said that I do not have a doctor, that I do not believe in doctors, and then made other hysterically false statements. That is why I said that I have been harassed by them, and that I will no longer respond to any of their posts directly.

Even when I gave LBK a well deserved compliment on one of her posts above, Kelly turned it into a smear. That is why I labeled Kelly's post as toxic. If she would only pray before she posts, then perhaps Christ could speak through her. We need less sarcasm, less baiting, and more Christian love.

Right now, I am suffering from a severe gall bladder attack, so yes, I am leaning over in my chair, sweating, and typing in pain. I went to the doctor and the anesthesiologist told me that he could not assist at the surgery and that he knew of no other anesthesiologist who would because I am allergic or sensitive to all the current drugs on the market. So, yes, I am furious at the FDA which has allowed the drug companies to discontinue all the drugs of the past which were effective but inexpensive in favor of these new generation very expensive patented drugs which could kill me. It is all about money, not patient safety.

Lord have mercy.

Maria,

You are in my prayers.  Please don't lose hope and hang in there, and yes, if you're in a lot of pain, then I suggest you go to the ER.  Never cease to ask as many questions as you can to your doctors and ask also about your options.  And do not be afraid of "second opinions" from different doctors if you're not comfortable with the doctors you were with.

God bless you.

I went to the ER and they told me there was nothing they could do. I cannot even take morphine. They said that I should not even sign the admission papers to the ER because I cannot give my consent to drugs that might kill me. Basically, they told me that they are afraid to treat me.

What's worse - dying from your allergic reactions or dying from internal gangrene?

Like Mina said, get a second opinion.  For God's sake and your own, get off the computer and see someone...your health and well-being depend on it.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Um guys, some of you, you should know who you are, not cool.  :(
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
