Keep your mind in hell and do not despair

I watched this series(www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IRmBjfeNCI) and noticed how the people prostrates before the clergy. I wondered if this was solely a slavic practice, or if the greeks did this too in the past.

Do not be cast down over the struggle - the Lord loves a brave warrior. The Lord loves the soul that is valiant.

This happens in Coptic traditions as well.

It also happens in Roman Catholic tradition, but like many other things, this has often been forgotten since Vat II, nevertheless I see people do it from time to time. In the churches with the Latin Masses it is a normal occurrence. It is inspiring.

"and for all who are Orthodox, and who hold the Catholic and Apostolic Faith, remember, O Lord, thy servants" - yet the post-conciliar RC hierarchy is tolerant of everyone and everything... except Catholic Tradition, for modernists are as salt with no taste, to be “thrown out and trampled under foot
