James the only support the need is from Gud, if the wanted your support they would alredy obeyed the PAtriarch, take the money from EU and then telliing stories on the internet about how difficult and bad the world is.
And Prodromos have you ever reed about the zwgrafite munks who are all saints , patriarch veggw burned them in their monastary at mount athos ?
I'm not a master of canons but I think you should reed the apostolc canons and you will see that they can do "apotixiseis" without becoming scismatic if they are jused continue to follow the rules.
I'm sorry, but I can't make head or tale of this. What are you trying to say to me? I supported the monks' stance against the EP and continue to do so. Others have done the same. I deplore the fact that the Patriarch has used the Greek authorities to evict them, but I now believe that they should accept their lot, thus providing a witness for the Truth - that is martyrdom.
Look at it this way, my patron saint, St. James the Persian, refused to accept the Persian king's threats or promises as sufficient reasoon to deny Christ. For this reason he was slowly dismembered alive, joint by joint, never murmuring but accepting his suffering. He didn't curse the Persian king for what he was doing to him, but rather praised Christ. In doing so he became a great martyr, a witness to the true faith and he continues even now to inspire people like me to try to do the same. Isn't that a far greater testament to his faith than if he had called down curses from the Lord on the king's head?
If St. James the Persian could suffer such a hideous death without complaint, then I don't think it's too much to ask that the Esphigmenou monks suffer their, much less onerous, eviction in a similar manner. Saying this does not mean that I agree with the actions of the EP any more than I agree with the king of Persia's torture of St. James.
Do you understand what I was saying now?
