May God bless Pope John Paul II and grant him peace, eternal life in a place where he will no longer suffer as he has been for so many years...I am deeply saddened by his terminal condition.

The man was almost assassinated for being the head of Western Christianity many years ago by a Turk extremist, therefore he is a saint. Not to mention the specific Pope was a man worthy of his title.
Lord have mercy.

Pope John Paul II is dead.
Why was he refused to follow the authentic and canonical teachings of the Church ?
Please give me a rational reason.
Matthew 6 / 33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Ipap, This is a prayer forum. Perhaps you can post this question in a more appropriate place? The statement of the GOA closes with reference to the historical return of relics and ceremony with EP and Pope JPII last year and says: "We, as Orthodox Christians, will always remember, among other instances, this expression of a desire for reconciliation and unity as we pray for the repose of his soul."
May his memory be eternal. In XC, Kizzy

Kizzy,
I am sorry if I cause any discomfort while you are praying.
Please let me honestly to stand by your side and pray with you for Karol Jozef Wojtyla, not for Pope John Paul II.
Pope John Paul II means literally: Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Christ, Successor of St. Peter, Prince of Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Patriarch of the West, Primate of Italy, Sovereign of Vatican City
May God, in the Love of Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost accepts person Karol Jozef Wojtyla (and with him us too) in His paradise.
