Eh. Yes and no.

Just in general, I don't understand this line of thinking. Now even the term "Christian" is considered too religious now?

I just don't get it.

The very core of his message is quite good; we can't just call ourselves something, we have to live out Jesus' teachings and we can't get lazy.  That being said, I do think that this comment is very accurate:

LOL. This video is what happens when you go straight from 95 AD to 2013 AD with no clue as to what happened in between.

I think we've already filled the monthly quotas for threads on Catholics, Jews, and other Orthodox. We have to talk about something, right? angel

Actually i think this counts more in the 'look at the crazy i found on YouTube' quota....and i think we might still be under quota there..

the "christians" as word formed later for the followers of Christ

it's not the only word that formed this way

we use the word Ιωαννίτες for the Knights of Saint John (Ιωάννης) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_Hospitaller

when the word formed used with 2 ways
Χριστιανός and Χρηστιανός
to be honest I read this in a heretic nover I have read these days but I found that iit also in this article from a priest.
the χρηστιανός word means honorable, fair, αγαθός (can't find the english word) and ethic.

the Χριστιανός word is from the word χριστός which means κεχρισμένος< ο φέρων το χρίσμα < αρχ. ελλ. ρήμα: χρίω and I really can't translate it but I hope that someone else can so I write it.
