Hi. I am new to this web site and am not even sure this the proper place for this post.

This site was recommended to me by a friend. It looks really great thus far.

I am an Orthodox Christian and attend a Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church in Manassas, Virginia. I converted to Orthodoxy from Lutheranism almost 3 years ago.

I would like to make a request that all of you also check out the www.christianbbs.com forums and consider posting there. The site is part of "Christianity.com" but should really be called "Protestants online." If you do visit that site be prepared to be opposed with venom and name-calling. If your convictions as an Orthodox Christian are shakey, avoid it.

The christianbbs forums need more Orthodox Christians to counter the incredible ignorance one finds there.

I think this Orthodox site is great and is really like a breath of fresh air.

Thanks be to God for this web site!
