HBO has a short series, "True Detective", starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, set in southern Louisiana in the '80s and '90s, with some heavy-duty metaphysical and philosophical speculations intertwined therein, mixed in with Southern culture and religion.
Recently, one scene was of a country evangelist, with a Cajun twang
, leading a tent-revival, and quite realistic preaching. If you haven't been to a tent revival (or even if you have), it might be worth a look, though his talk of each of us having a "true face" not yet known to us, and his brief reference to neurophysiological processes, are not the usual topics of such Pentecostalistic homilies. (You can see the McConaughey and Harrelson characters standing at the back of the tent, in one or two scenes.)
