For situations at workplace
« on: January 24, 2014, 04:13:48 PM »

Please remember me (Michael) in your prayers.  There's been quite a shakeup at work with my boss resigning due to some health issues and now my co-worker (and only other full time employee) handed in her resignation and his moving on to brighter and better things (I'm genuinely happy for her).  The administration are already jerking us around about our boss leaving, as they keep telling us she's coming back but my boss has told us that she's out for good.  Who knows what will happen now that my peer is leaving.  I do know I'll be doing the job of three people with no real authority to do anything important while they figure all this out.  I was already having a rough time adjusting to my boss leaving and now this.

And please, I'm not interested in strategies for dealing with this.  I am just in need of spiritual help and, as such, please pray for me.

Lord have mercy.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

Lord have mercy.
My only weakness is, well, never mind

And you'll sleep, but they'll find you

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

London is drowning, and I live by the river

Lord, have mercy on Schultz.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
