"crooked and perverse generation" Phil 2:14, Deut. 32:5
« on: January 23, 2014, 05:00:00 PM »
So last night I was reflecting on this phrase and the fact we too live a midst a "crooked and perverse generation".  It's easy to bemoan the present circumstances and get wistful about a bygone day that never was . . . but honestly are we today living in a world that is any more crooked and perverse than previous ones?

To be honest, I am bothered by the people who say the sky is falling . . . I am almost equally disturbed by those who act like the evil in the world today isn't any different from previous generations.

What do ya'll think?

Perhaps we should let it rest with Matt. 6:34: Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
