No, it's sinful to waste the time that could be spent praying, fasting, and reading spiritual books.

I thought we used those to prepare for Airsoft.   :-[

Does your bishop know just how dissipative you are?  He will after I am finished printing this thread and faxing it over to him.

Just kidding, I don't care.

Actually, it is my son who wants to go.  I enlisted in the Navy just to avoid contact with dirt.    ;)

I did that when I was a kid, but it gets expensive.

...you can imagine so-called healing services of the pigpen. The books that could be written, you know: Life in the Pigpen. How to Cope in the Pigpen. Being Happy in the Pigpen. Surviving in the Pigpen. And then there could be counselling, for people who feel unhappy in the pigpen, to try to get them to come to terms with the pigpen, and to accept the pigpen.

I've thought about it.  Probably the only way I'm ever going to get an MP-40.

That's true of every hobby.

The advantage here is that he will be prepared for the next Zombie Apocalypse.

A tip: Just buy a Tokyo Marui or better. Anything cheaper will break and cost you more money in the long run.

Only real firearms for the most dangerous game.

I'm not a regular, but I have played. It is a great deal of fun. I would probably hesitate shooting a priest though.  ;)
God bless!

So it is OK to shoot anyone else?  Seems to me that games like this perpetuate the underlying violence in our culture.  Just saying .

I'm just kidding, I would shoot a priest too.  ;D

It's a game. If people are incapable of separating a game of airsoft from violence perpetrated in our culture, they need more psychological help than refraining from the game is going to give them. Violence is nurtured when violence is induced. Airsoft is not violence. If someone happens to get hurt, the game stops, concern in shown, help is rendered, etc.  If you look at the people who have perpetrated violence like the Columbine shootings, the Newtown shootings, etc, they are carried out by people who have been mercilessly bullied and harrassed. Many suicides that have taken place are the result of social media harrassing. These are things that should be far more concerning to people than a couple games of airsoft.
God bless!
