Mormons in Armenia
« on: January 15, 2014, 06:02:01 AM »
I just found a website of a Mormon missionary in Armenia. May God give her wisdom and discernment to see truth better.

As a former Mormon looking back, I have found that it is difficult to persuade Mormons that another religion is true because they see things through the lens of Jesus' statement that "by their fruits ye shall know them." Thus Mormons look at their own tradition and see a religion that, depsite persecution, has experienced rapid growth and prosperity. Further, they have the strongest missionary force in the world and are one of the most charitable organizations in the world as well. Thus if you said to a Mormon "you should be Orthodox" they might respond "Why? You are isolated, don't proclaim your faith, your religion isn't growing, it isn't prospering, etc."

The best way we can evangelize Mormons is by getting our own house in order.

There is simply no comparing the persecution the Mormons experienced in the USA to what the Armenians suffered under the Persians, Turks, etc.

May God give her to see the Light of His Truth and thwart any efforts to lead Orthodox Armenians into the darkness and falsehood she is preaching.
I'm with the camp of 13 million Americans that believe politicians are, or are controlled by, Reptilians. I think only monks can solve this problem. It doesn't seem right that they prefer to ignore it.

Lord have mercy.

Sts. Peter and Paul, pray for us.
My only weakness is, well, never mind

And you'll sleep, but they'll find you

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

London is drowning, and I live by the river

Lord, have mercy.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
