Grandfather
« on: December 31, 2013, 01:44:36 AM »
Please pray for my grandfather. He has been bleeding somewhere in his upper GI over the past month and has had 3 blood transfusions due to the loss; tomorrow he will have an endoscopy done to try and locate the cause (hopeful it is not something horrible) and plan for correction.

St. Nektarios, pray to God for us.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

Lord, have mercy on Reham's grandfather.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Thank-you all! He is doing well, and the cause was located and turned out to be easily fixable.
