Thank you everyone for your prayers!

We still do not have a room.

She's lying on a cot in the ER hallway.

However, thanks be to God she seems improved over this morning.

Please keep those prayers coming!!!

I had her dressed and sitting in the wheelchair ready to go, when the doctor refused to release her because some enzyme was elevated.

My mom cried. She doesn't cry easily.

I had to get her back in the gown for another night.

Please pray that it's nothing serious, and that I can bring her home with me tomorrow.

Lord please show mercy to my mother, strengthen her resolve and forgive her tears.

Grant her a complete and speedy recover, please.

Please keep praying.

This morning she was up, nibbled on toast and even ate a piece of prosphora my sister brought from church.

Now she is in ICU on a ventilator.

:(

May God, in His kindness and mercy, heal my mother, Halina, and grant her a speedy and complete recovery.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,
and urgent strife sheds blood.
If you blow on a spark, it will glow;
if you spit on it, it will be put out;
and both come out of your mouth

Continued prayers dearest Liza. Lord, have mercy!
To God be the Glory in all things! Amen!

Only pray for me, that God would give me both inward and outward strength, that I may not only speak, but truly will; and that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one. St.Ignatius of Antioch.Epistle to the Romans.

Lord have mercy.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

The initial condition which promoted the ER visit resolved itself.

She's now developed pneumonia which is really not cooperating.

Seems she needs to have aortic valve non intrusively fixed. Once fixed everything should heal due to increased blood flow.

She would need to be transported to another hospital for that.

Problem is, to take her, she needs to be off ventilator and pneumonia improved. It won't improve until valve is fixed.

So, we are stuck.

She is struggling and begging me to remove ventilator and shut it all off.

....and yet, according to docs, she still has a fairly good chance of recovery.

So.... I am between a rock and a hard place.

If she is to die, I wish God would just take her.  If not, I wish He would heal her and give her encouragement, because she's giving up and getting very angry and upset with me because of the ventilator.

She didn't want to go to the hospital. She told me she feared she wouldn't come home.

Please pray that God heals her and gives me a few more years with her. I'd give just about anything just to hear her voice again.

Dear God, help us.
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Lord, have mercy.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Could you get some of the heavenly myrrh from the ACROD parish and have her anointed with it?
