What is EasternReligion?

The general auspices of Eastern Christianity. (And some Buddhism)

Hmm, not to pee on your parade or anything, but I was not aware you could convert to the "general auspices" (not sure what this means in this context) of something as vague as "eastern Christianity" (or, if you can, you could do that and retain whatever Buddhist things you do). Were you baptized in a particular church? Are you under a canonical Orthodox bishop? It's hard to tell what has actually happened here, so I don't know what I'd be congratulating you for.

The "general auspices" of the EO church and the Russian tradition means loosely affiliated and nominally associated.

So, you traded one buffet for another?

But is it a Protestant Mexican buffet or EasternReligion Mexican buffet?

I'm not sure what seems to be the problem? You need to explain further. So I can understand what you actually mean

The Gospel is quite clear: both saints and sinners love God. "Religious" people do not love him, and whenever they can, they crucify him.

Of course, OC.net is not reflective of the Church, but is rather a surreal bubble. I have visited a lot of different parishes around the world and have listened to many hours of AFR...

They are making light of your reference to Buddhism.  Choosing some Orthodox beliefs and some Buddhists beliefs is not unlike the Protestant picking what doctrines and practices they like and dislike and making a religion out of it.

I kind of feel like you are doing a disservice to both religions, but okay.

Yes...please do, WPM  ;).

It is as yet unclear to me as to whether or not you have been baptized (or chrismated, having already been baptized in another church) into the Orthodox Church and partake of the Holy Sacraments.

I was chrismated at a WR Orthodox service in 2007. So I am Orthodox, specifically the Eastern Orthodox Catholic flavor of the many branches of Christianity.

I was also interested in the some of the Tibetan Buddhist practices. Just because

Could not find a specific practice for Christianity .. Except Prayer and Worship (Worshipping in-concerto with the Russian Rocor liturgy) ..

The Baptism by the Triple-Immersion formula? Such as Jesus being baptized by John in the river?..

Yes of course, baptized as a baby long time ago. (My mom attends a local Lutheran church, while I would rather attend Orthodox services).
