I am converting to the Antiochian Jurisdiction, hopefully by Pasha in 2014.
This has been a couple years in the making and Christmas this year sealed the deal
for sure. I am a virtual shut in most of the time and the Catholics just ignored my while the Orthodox emailed and called me and offered me fellowship of all kinds. Like a fool I held out for some of my RC family members to call or show up and they never did.
Pope Francis is trying to put a warm face on a cold judgmental institution that needs to
erase 500 years of moronic doctrine and they never will. I am not Anti Catholic, I feel
deep sorrow for them and the place they have put themselves. I am happy to be joining the True Church for many positive reasons I did not mention here.

Come not between the Nazgûl and his...love of Apostolic doctrine?  Huh

Welcome to the forum and the Church, and watch out for Dernhelm...it's really Éowyn.  Okay, I'm a geek.  Sorry.  Undecided

Welcome.

But can Éowyn be a threat on her own or does she require the aid of Master Meriadoc to attack from behind first?  Grin

Glad to see you have communication and can feel connected to your local parish even if you can't always be there in attendance. I have just this past week visited my local parish and am glad to see the warm welcome and openness there. The easy access to communication with my priest will be very helpful as I sort out everything on this journey into Orthodoxy. Good luck on your upcoming baptism!

The Witch King of Angmar

Hmmm...the Witch King of Angmar converting to Orthodoxy...this could spark an interesting debate about the efficacy of prayers for the undead.  Wink
