Prayers for a soldier...
« on: February 22, 2005, 11:11:42 PM »
I just found out that a guy I grew up with in my town of Elmsford died today from a gun shot wound he received late yesterday while serving in Iraq. He was 20 years old. Please keep Michael in your prayers... :(

Eternal memory in a place of peace.  Lord, have mercy.

The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."" With the Saints give rest to the souls of Thy servant, oh Christ, where there in neither sickness sorrow nor sighing, but life everlasting.  Amen

May his memeory be eternal.
