AOL and Attachments
« on: February 24, 2005, 10:28:33 AM »
Glory to Jesus Christ!

Does anyone know of a way to overcome AOL's block of some attachments?  I have been trying to send our youth newsletter to people with an AOL address and neither the attachment, or for that matter, the message get through.  The newsletter is sent as a PDF.

Tell them to get rid of AOL! :)

I  don't know why AOL blocks PDF attachments. Never heard of that before, but it sounds retarded.Another possibility is that the PDF size is too large, and AOL is blocking attachments over X meg.

Either compress the file(zip, bzip, or the like) and send it, or tell the folks to get another type of email(gmail) or finally, publish it on the web.
