Worthy indeed!

All we need now is for Mr. Quick to surface again and our forum owner to pop in once in a while, and then the original troika would be restored.

That would be so amazing.

"I'm dying Ephrem". That's how "Mor Ephrem" translates into Romanian. Smiley

IoanC,

We have a hymn, sung at Compline on Tuesday night (Wednesday), the words of which are put into the mouth of St Ephrem.  It begins "I, Ephrem, am dying, and I write my testament..."  I can't pray on Tuesdays without wanting to read it "I'm dying Ephrem" and thinking of Romanians.  Tongue

Lol

I Ephrem am dying and writing my testament, to be a witness for the pupils who come after me: Be constantly praying, day and night; as a ploughman who ploughs again and again, whose work is admirable. Do not be like the lazy ones in whose fields thorns grow. Be constantly praying, for he who adores prayer will find help in both worlds.

Which means that now, when you get warned or moderated, you're going to have to pull out a dictionary to understand the reason cited.

lol.  Congratulations, Mor or less.

Some of my questions might appear patently stupid to those well-versed in Orthodoxy, but I'm brand new, having no background in the faith.  Please grant me a great deal of patience and consideration as I learn the basics.

"Pasi" is a male name in here. It's nice to know that you all pray peace for my friends.
