Please pray for my grandfather, Jerrel. He had a 9hr bypass surgery last week to restore circulation and blood flow to one of his legs in hopes of helping heal an infected big toe. He is 84 and diabetic, and 3 days ago the toe had to be removed finally. Now he is back in the ICU today because fluid is building up in his lungs and it looks like he is having cardiac issues, too among other things. It seems everything has went downhill for him the past 48hr.  Cry

O Lord, Physician of our souls, have mercy on us.

Some of my questions might appear patently stupid to those well-versed in Orthodoxy, but I'm brand new, having no background in the faith.  Please grant me a great deal of patience and consideration as I learn the basics.

Lord, have mercy on the servant Jerrel.   Most Holy Theotokos, comfort Jerrel and his family.
