Not in communion but interesting nonetheless. Not that I understand why would monastics use fb in the first place. And the reason is interesting too.

Me too. Not that I see much sense in that.

From everything that I am reading there seems to be a lot of conflicting information on this 'decree'

On the other hand, I'm not sure how this was passed or if such a decision actually happened since the younger Bishops outnumber the older ones, and the younger ones mostly understand the benefits of Facebook as a tool. I'm also sure how the Bishops who are anti-Facebook can enforce priests and monks under jurisdiction of other Bishops.

Whole lot of foolishness coming out of our Orthodox Synods these days....
