Lord, have mercy on me

« on: October 16, 2013, 08:47:23 PM »

I would like prayer for my 2 cousins. One of them has been blind since she was like 8 or 9 and now the disease that made her blind is deteriorating her mind/brain and health. She can't dress herself anymore and is starting to go in a wheelchair and will soon have to go to a Retirement Home. The doctors said she has the mind of a 60 year old, but she's only 21.

My other cousin has been suffering from depression, suicidal thoughts, and mental illness. As a kid he was constantly bullied and his parents didn't do anything about it. He dropped university during the first year. He was in a Mental Hospital for awhile but now he currently has a job. At 22, he still lives at home, but his mother is attempting to kick him out. His family, especially his mother, are not really helping him.

Thank you

O Lord, Physician of our souls, have mercy on Laird's cousins.

O gracious Lord, have mercy.

All Holy Trinity, through the intercessions of all of Your Saints, have mercy.

Lord, have mercy...grant strength to the ill cousin and her family.

Lord, grant peace and fortitude the young man who is finding his way in life.

Lord, have mercy upon your creation.

Thanks for the all the prayers. She now has a feeding tube and a hospital bed in her room. And my other cousin no longer has a job. He will soon be on a government disability program, which means he can't work. He's losing his independence. He also has an addiction to gambling in poker with real money.  Cry

All Holy Trinity, have mercy on them. Holy One, visit and heal their infirmities for the Glory of Your Name.

I'm sorry.  This is very sad.

May the Lord strengthen everyone and keep them safe from harm, grant them good health, both physical and mental, and guide them in their endeavors and future actions.

She's going downhill. She doesn't talk that much and when she does it is in a low voice/whisper. But no, no new updates. Thanks for your prayers everyone!

Lord, please be with these two of thy creation, and hear our prayers as unworthy as we may be to utter them.  It is not for us that we pray, but for these two that are tormented.
