I'm leaving for NC tomorrow, finally starting life over after months of planning. Please pray that things go well for my children and I.

Through the intercessions of St. Nicholas, the Wonderworker of Myra, LORD be with Rebecca Ann and her family.

We made it here, and are now officially having reverse culture shock. I grew up here but left at 18 and have always lived in very large cities ever after. We just went from Seattle to a rural Southern town of 7,000. So far it is really, really quiet...

Thank-you for your prayers!

take your kids to see the wildlife.
that's what people do in the countryside.
go hunt some rare flowers or birds.
stay clear of rattlesnakes or brown bears!

You've greatly improved your surroundings to a place more conducive to raising a family.  Lord, have mercy.  You're in my prayers.

Some of my questions might appear patently stupid to those well-versed in Orthodoxy, but I'm brand new, having no background in the faith.  Please grant me a great deal of patience and consideration as I learn the basics.
