Does it mean you are not able to see a difference between ethnographic and historic maps?

No, I can see difference just fine, but I wonder if you do not like that map because a certain country is missing

Approximately there are 6,000 languages in the world. Most languages have less than 1,000 speakers. In a few years, linguists speculate, the majority of languages in the world will be extinct due to increasing globalization and neo-Imperialism.

Not everything I type or have typed in the past is reflective of the teaching of the Orthodox Church, or may not reflect my contemporary views on a subject. (5/30/2015)

I am scaling back posting because the crack in my computer screen makes it harder and harder to type.

Based on this map from wiki, with most changes having to do with colors.

Since when did Groot-Nederland include Wallonia?

This is Heel-Nederland, not Groot-Nederland.

Groot-Nederland wasn't ambitious enough.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,
and urgent strife sheds blood.
If you blow on a spark, it will glow;
if you spit on it, it will be put out;

I didn't realize that Ohio had so few trees.  Yet another reason to dislike them.

You've obviously never been to Ohio.  Western half is mostly farmland (used to have more forests), Eastern half is wooded; Cleveland was nicknamed "Forest City" for its integration of trees and parks into the urban landscape.

Indiana is another story...
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.

Just a map someone did on deviantart of what the borders of the countries of the world might look like 50 years from now. It wasn't meant to be a realistic guess, just a bit of fun.

Brazilian states' names with literal translations into English from either Portuguese or Tupi-Guarani.

And Castle Falkenstein's map of New Europa, the main setting for this steampunk-fantasy RPG.

Because I liked the American cultural map, here are two, one of modern day Brazil, and from pre-independence colonial times.

Good financial environment, too.  Just got an e-mail from a Nigerian businessman friend of mine who needs my help.  I don't have an MBA, but I can get several million dollars just by sending some personal info!  Guess I'm moving to Africa!

Thereby confirming that PA is vastly underrepresented in proportion to its population.

I had no idea that St. Louis, MO was such a hotbed of earthquakes.  You learn something everyday.
