Good news: I don't have to go to my job again.
Bad news: I don't have a formal job to go to again.
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Cor 2:6)

I hope you find a job to your liking soon.

Lord have mercy.

Any updates?
I have applied at a couple of places, signed up with a placement agency, showed up late to a last minute find of a job fair (could be good but should have gotten a business card from one person and misplaced one from another), took a basic skills test for another job, but have not heard back.

I volunteered at a conference (though I was not there early enough to do a whole lot but sat through some interesting lectures). I got a way to volunteer through there, but I don't know if I should since it is not an issue I am passionate about. There are arguments for, such as filling resume gaps, finding contacts, etc. One the other hand, should I found a cause I am more interested in or stick with work I can do and do something? I don't know.

One of my friends is trying to get me to sign up for a financial services company at least for the classes and to give it a try.  If I am not doing anything in a couple of weeks, I think I might. I'm also slowing writing something.

I need to learn how to write a letter of introduction and do the skill strengthener lessons through a placement agency, and also review some Excel for a placement agency test.

I am trying to find a piece of paper now that I have misplaced and still need to try to unemployment. Hoping I don't have to go embarass myself.

Thank you all for the prayers. Much appreciated.

I'm spending Sunday afternoon trying to find examples of work for a recruiter from last week. Hoping I find some good ones.

I've been unemployed since last March, and haven't gotten a single phone call.  I'm into Emergency Unemployment now, and there's nowhere to go once that runs out.  I feel your pain.

The job scene hasn't been this bad since 1928.

Lord, have mercy.
Some of my questions might appear patently stupid to those well-versed in Orthodoxy, but I'm brand new, having no background in the faith.  Please grant me a great deal of patience and consideration as I learn the basics.
