What is in the image is what I see--there is nothing below it, nor can I edit or quote my post. However, when I hit reply I can see the thread just fine in the "Topic Summary" thing below.

I guess I should have embedded the pic, since if everyone is having the same problem then an attachment won't be viewable. Anyway, thanks for posting the error message!

I wonder why it recurs? Perhaps Simple Machines (the company's name) not always so simple?

Something with boards or my connection. I can't see any posts.  I see the forum hierarchy and all it's topics. I can open any of them, but when I open a thread what I see is the avatar of the first person to post on that page and a nearly empty posted text box that in the upper left corner says something about being a template:

8: Undefined index: can_see_reports
File: /home/ocnet/public_html/forum/Themes/default/Display.template.php (main sub template - eval?)

Its on every thread of every topic? Is this just a maintenance time issue that will go away or something else/more?

I figured maybe it was a sign I should get off the board and start meditating upon the Law of the Lord day and night...or at least earn my bread in silence  Lips Sealed

That's just crazy talk.

I don't know how successful are financial appeals in support of "OC.net" but I am wondering if an appeal for the financial support of the users to have a professional vendor do some of the work Anastasios has indicated is needed, might be a profitable approach to the address the functionality problems that seem to plague this forum.

I've already brought this up and received no response before. And then did so again. And then commented on receiving no response. And then commented some more. Nothing.

Maybe they'll respond to youangel

I'd be happy to donate to that cause.

I'd be happy to donate to that cause.

There's a "treasury" button in the toolbar along the top.

Feel free to click, and donate.

I'm sure it would be much appreciated.   Cheesy

How, with only $1 for the entire month of May, would that problem get fixed?

I don't think you can buy the "fix" at the Dollar Store.  Wink

Maybe people would like to be assured that the problems would be fixed, and maybe even perhaps be brought up to date from its current 2004ish state, and be told what would be improved, and how much would need to be raised, before giving more money than the site already gets which cover the current bills.
