Job interview
« on: August 29, 2013, 12:04:23 PM »
Please pray for my wife as she goes to her interview in about 45 minutes for a position she really wants and will help her out professionally.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Through the intersessions of the Theotokos, be with hecma's wife at her interview.
The term planet earth is an innovation which has arisen in recent centuries with the error of heliocentrism.

If one wants to confess a pure doctrine of Orthodoxy, they should be careful not to refer to the earth as a planet, unlike the current Pope as well as Patriarch Kirill and Patriarch Bartholomew, who regularly speak in error when they refer to our planet earth.

May the Lord open her mind and give her the words she needs to answer well the questions posed to her.

May the interviewers be impressed with her and grant her this employment, if it be God's will.

Lord, have mercy!

Thanks for the prayers.  She said it went very well and, whether she gets the job or not, she learned a lot.  She said it was her best interview ever.  Glory to God for all things!  If it's God's will, I know she will get it.

It went very well!  Her second interviewer said that Sheila (the first interviewer/hiring manager) only sends people she really wants to hire, so this second interview was mostly a formality.  If God wills, it will follow through all in place.  Glory to God!

The job is for critical care nurse.  She currently is an operating room nurse, but there is no real patient care involved.  The new hospital is wanting to train her up in critical care nursing and was willing to hire her even though she has no experience in the field.  She's been wanting to get out of the operating room for a while now, so I know her prayers have been answered too. :)

Glory to God!
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

My wife completed her critical care training and begins night shift without having someone looking over her shoulder and second-guessing her decisions.  She feels a bit nervous going from days to nights and working with a different group of nurses.  Pray that she may have the confidence that I know she has in her skills and training and that she can have peace no matter what happens in the ICU.

Thank you so much for your prayers.
