E-mail Notifications Come Late
« on: August 17, 2013, 03:14:24 AM »
In the last few weeks, e-mail notifications started coming hours after the reply was made, unlike before when they were instant. I am not sure if I made any modifications to my preferences, but to the best of my ability they are set correctly.

Is anyone else having this issue?
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Fixed my own problem, just after making this thread. (of course!)
I had changed the time offset according to my area and then everything got shifted the 7 hours that are apart. Thank you!

Same problem here. Ioan's fix doesn't work for me though, since I already have the correct offset.

They come days late. Not cool.

It's a trick designed to get you to come to the forum more. Don't know if there's been an update? I guess you'll just have to check in every hour to see!  :)

I come here at least once a day Asteriktos. Don't make me feel guilty or you will be Asteriktoxic. And our poker outings will end.

On a more serious note. The same situation was happening with me but I found today that my notifications were turned off even though I did not do it.
If you cannot remember everything, instead of everything, I beg you, remember this without fail, that not to share our own wealth with the poor is theft from the poor and deprivation of their means of life; we do not possess our own wealth but theirs.  If we have this attitude, we will certainly offer our money; and by nourishing Christ in poverty here and laying up great profit hereafter, we will be able to attain the good things which are to come. - St. John Chrysostom

I just got an email notification for a PM from three days ago.

Is someone going to actually offer technical help in this thread?
