Please, please pray for the safe return of my cat Grumpy. She has special needs. We are devastated. I am barely functioning. Please pray that we will find her.

Please keep praying. Still no sign of her - I'm offering a reward now so hopefully that will help. I am just a wreck, a total wreck. My boss sent me home today as we were overstaffed and I was spending all day in the bathroom crying anyway.

Please pray that she is safe and will come home somehow.

(Just a suggestion - did you leave out a dish of cat snacks? I hope that helps.)

Lord, have mercy.

I know what you are going through.  We have a special needs cat as well that ran away earlier this year. He was gone for two weeks and just randomly returned after that.  He was not in good health when he came back, but he is doing much better now.  I hope Grumpy returns quickly for you.  Cats can be stubborn creatures sometimes. If she is normally an indoor cat, they very rarely go very far.  They usually get spooked and hide in a bush or something for days until hunger and thirst drive them out.

Lord have mercy.

I don't know what you've tried but my cat went missing for a full month in the winter- we put out tons of humane traps in the surrounding woods and eventually she went in one. It was about 50 feet from our home.

My understanding is that indoor cats, if they get outside suddenly, go into full survival mode and might not even allow their owners to approach them- hence, trapping them is the best bet.

Oh dear Lord, please help Grumpy find her way back to those who love her.

All cats I had- the last one lived about 12 years- lived outside. So they would sometimes be gone for days but eventually showed up no exceptions. When he died a neighbor found him in a shed.

So sorry about your baby Grumpy, poor little creature! I am a cat massive lover myself, and my heart is breaking just reading yours posts.

Lord, please ensure Grumpy's protection and help lead the way to a safe return to her family!

I would put out a trap if we didn't have so many neighborhood cats running around. I feel like the pied piper of cats... I keep finding every one but her. It's a nightmare. This is day 8 since we saw her.

Perhaps you could discuss it with some of the neighbors. As long as you check the traps every day (I was checking them at least 3 X a day) I wouldn't worry about it. I caught not only other people's cats, but more raccoons and possums than I've ever seen before in my life. It's just going to happen. Your neighbors should understand.

Kelly, I pray that Grumpy comes back. But, you need to believe that wherever he is God is watching over him and taking care of him.

Dig deep and put your faith in Him.

Lord have mercy, keep Grumpy safe an healthy and help him find his way back home.
