Oh! That like the staritsa we could bear witness to how our venerable and God-bearing father Seraphim of Sarov fed the bear with his arm without the bear feeding on him. Let us bear sorrows, persecutions and slander with gratitude, and raise our bear-strong arms to Heaven, and let the Holy Spirit bear down on us as it did bear down on him.
