He should never have been charged in the first place, the prosecution was pathetic and merely a race baited reaction full of emotion.

This is already being discussed in "Politics".  Given the highly political (and fairly inflammatory) nature of the case and people's opinions about it, that seems to me to be the proper place to discuss it.

It should have been taken to a grand jury. That would have solved the controversy of whether he should have been charged from the start.
