Well, it's the first time I've heard about it happening to an American citizen over there. London has had an ordinance against preaching against homosexuality on the open street for some years now. England has never had constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech.

You're right. We don't have much tolerance for that kind of public indecency up here.  :)
