Please remember in your prayers the servant of God Richard, owner emeritus of the Sidebar Tavern in Baltimore, who died last night.  Richard was a strong supporter of local music, especially the punk and hardcore bands, and gave us a stable home for many years even though he wasn't very fond of punk rock and we never really made him that much money.  Still, he put up with our shenanigans and gave us a place where it was easy for just about anyone to plug in, play loud, and have a good time.  He was instrumental in making the Sidebar the "CBGBs of Baltimore" and a must play destination for touring bands.

May his memory be eternal!
