A 392 page hardback, whose description on the University of California Press website is dense enough to require some digesting (It comes at USDollars 29.95 or £ 19.95 plus p and p). If I had the time it would interest me but time, concentration and the necessary reflexion are not what I can afford to give as an aged and infirm carer.

From reading the very lengthy description it would certainly be an interesting contribution and one that might raise the discussions of Christianity from its usual two dimensional default setting to something more three dimensional. At the same time provoking by turn readers of every and any Christian community, Eastern or Western.

Hope you find someone interested enough to explore this study with you.

So you changed your avatar to an ordinary picture of a monk?

A sense of perspective would be the death of over 99% of what's on this board. Doesn't sound to me like people here read books about perspective.

I wish I had the time to dedicate to serious reading.  By the time I finish a book, I've forgotten what it said in the beginning.

That seems to just be a blurb/review? Unless I am missing a link...

My patron saint. I tend to change it every few weeks... or days Smiley

Oh well. I'm glad you're back from hiatus, anyway.
