GMO delight: Franken Fish to be sold in Supermarkets near you.
Krogers may carry the GMO Salmon if the FDA approves it. If so, Krogers and other major supermarkets may not warn you that you are buying genetically engineered meat. There is no labeling requirement, so shoppers will not know that they are buying genetically engineered meat.

Lord have mercy.

I wonder what the Green Patriarch thinks about these mad scientists who are tampering with God's creation.

Oh, my! Don't drive after drinking that much!
I thought you were talking about a 40 oz bottle of Coke filled with GMO-High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS).
Beer is much better than Coke.

One of my brothers-in-law ended up in the hospital after ingesting at least 40 oz jugs of coke.
The doctor said that the combination of the HFCS and the caffeine was too much for his heart.
He developed tachycardia and had to avoid anything with caffeine.

But you know the nutritional value (or lack thereof) of your drink and food and were able to make an informed decision.  Maria's talking about something vastly different and nefarious.  Advertisers have always lied to us about ingredients, while advocate groups have forced companies to be more open about said ingredients.  Advertisers still figure out ways to lie, but this goes way further.

Hey, do not ask me. I certainly will not voluntarily eat Franken Fish!

If I am invited over for dinner, and I know that the cook does not discriminate, I will eat other things on my plate and avoid fish. Or I will eat before I drive over and just drink tea.

Consider this: Farmed raised GMO engineered Salmon is fed GMO corn that is artificially colored to give these fish their fake color of reddish-orange. These fish grow twice as fast as regular salmon.

I am allergic to corn, so I cannot eat farm-raised fish.

Besides, the farm-raised fish I have eaten tastes like cardboard.

There is no Kroger's near me  Sad.

EDIT:  Since my wife does most of the cooking, and she really doesn't like fish much at all besides tuna, the chances of us meeting up with this fierce, viciously violent, bolt-through-the-neck finned creature are slim to none.  But....if there were a Kroger's near me, and if dear wife liked and was willing to cook salmon.................I'd eat it.  Cool

Are we all going to die?

In Christ,
Andrew

According to Country Joe and the FISH ( Grin), yes:
Quote
Well come on all of you big strong men, Uncle Sam needs your help again,
he got himself in a terrible jam, way down yonder in Vietnam,
put down your books and pick up a gun, we're gunna have a whole lotta fun.

CHORUS
and its 1,2,3 what are we fightin for?
don't ask me i don't give a dam, the next stop is Vietnam,
and its 5,6,7 open up the pearly gates. Well there aint no time to wonder why...WHOPEE we're all gunna die.

now come on wall street don't be slow, why man this's war a-go-go,
there's plenty good money to be made, supplyin' the army with the tools of the trade,
just hope and pray that when they drop the bomb, they drop it on the Vietcong.

CHORUS

now come on generals lets move fast, your big chance is here at last.
nite you go out and get those reds cuz the only good commie is one thats dead,
you know that peace can only be won, when you blow em all to kingdom come.
CHORUS
