« on: June 20, 2013, 08:03:27 PM »

Dear friends,

The time is at hand...I will be received into Christ's Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church by chrismation on Friday 28 June 2013 (New Zealand time) Cheesy  It has been an amazing, wonderful journey, and I can't believe the moment is almost here! Smiley

Please pray for me, that God will soften and chip away at any hardness of heart, lack of faith, belief or love for Him...that I may redeem the remaining time well in prayer, preparation and whatever else is needed...that I may prepare and give a good, full, honest confession to Christ in the presence of His servant the priest as a witness, without fear, misplaced guilt or sense of condemnation.

Thank you all for your advice and support along the way, and any pertaining to this part of the journey would be most welcome! Smiley

May God's will be done and His Name glorified!

Definitely in my prayers.  I think you'll get better advice closer at home, from people who know you. Wink

Thanks IXOYE, Liza, SolEX01, Maria, Putnik Namernik, Arachne, Gamliel, mabsoota and Sakeneko! Smiley

You're welcome, Putnik Namernik Smiley  Orthodoxy is growing in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Island nations and it's great!  The Orthodox Church is young here, with the first Church established in 1911, but is slowly starting to spread beyond the largest cities to smaller inland provincial centres.

I am not sure about others but at first I thought you were talking about dating. Anyways, many years to you!
lol...I had second thoughts about the title after I started the thread...after it was too late to change it Undecided

Thanks again for the warm thoughts and prayers, they are very much appreciated! Smiley

Since I don't know what time you're getting chrismated (let alone what time that would be in New Zealand), I'll pray for you and congratulate you at the same time. Smiley
