Augustinian Ecclesiology
« on: June 05, 2013, 08:11:49 AM »
Did Blessed Augustine thought that the destiny of the church was to act as a theocracy in the world? Did he thought that the church may use violence to purport its goals? What influence did this have on the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church? Is this what led to the Roman Catholic Inquisition and the military Crusades? Is this what the Orthodox Church also upholds, and in so in which manner? Where is the line drawed between Church/State/Politics/Court ?
