Has anyone heard the 1994 CD release by Hyperion?  Protodeacon Peter Scorer with the Corydon singers, in my opinion, perform the most incredible production of Rachmaninov's Op.31.  Protodeacon Peter has mastered the litanies in this one, and when paired with the magnificent Corydon singers, it's the absolute best of Russian Orthodox liturgy.

I've not yet heard this, but I have heard good things about this release as well.

The only Russian Orthodox cd of the Divine Liturgy I have is by the Russian Patriarchate Choir, directed by Anatoly Grindenko, which I enjoy. Someday I'd like to have the cd you are talking about so I can compare the two.  Smiley

The patriarchate choir is awesome, as usually is the case for any Orthodox church.
