Dinner was homemade kebabs (chicken, sausage, peppers, mushrooms and shallots) and chips. Fiddly, but well worth it.

McDonalds--
Double Qtr. Pounder w/cheese
Hamburger
Large Fry
Small Fry
Large Coke

I feel like such a pig. Though I feel even worse about the impulsive decision to spend that much, more than the impulsive decision to eat that much.

If you had shared it with me (or a homeless person), you would feel far better about it, I assure you. ;D

If you were going to spend that much, McD's wasn't the place to do it.  Or at least there were better sandwiches to buy.  :P

It was that or nothing. These are some very lean cow times in the spider's household.

Too bad you didn't opt for nothing.  That would be an appropriate Orthodox fast.

I pray for you to God with thinly veiled contempt.  He's angry too.  He told me.

Roast beef with potatoes, carrots, peas and gravy. If we hadn't forgotten the yorkies, it would have been the quintessential English Sunday dinner.

Had delicious French fries tonight, with luxurious rosemary and a dash of wonderful salt, and smothered in the fantastic Heinz™ Ketchup.

Yesterday's leftover beef, chopped up and casseroled with onions, mushrooms, carrots, peas, green pepper, tomatoes and the leftover gravy. Served over yorkies and leftover roasties from yesterday. Never say leftovers are second-class. ;D

I wonder if the both contain the same amount of cockroach parts?  (I tend to prefer Cadbury, too, for the record.)  But, for general mindless, soul-soothing snacking, it's hard to beat dark chocolate covered peanut M&M's.  8)

Make that milk chocolate and we agree. Or, even better, crisp.

I have come into an extra $50 this month beyond what I had planned for in my budget. Naturally the first thing I thought of doing was wasting it on things I don't really need, and which will cause regret for the rest of the month. So then, what better way to do this than having food delivered? But what kind of food? I have narrowed it down to: American (wings), Chinese (rice and chicken or whatever) or Italian (pizza and breadsticks). Decisions, decisions...

Alas, there isn't a place that pulls off all three... though a few places can do both the wings and pizza/breadsticks. Well I have a few hours to figure it out...

Pizza with paprika chicken and plenty of peppers. The spice must flow.

Why...does the $50 have an expiration date/time? ;D

Actually, you can get the wings and pizza/breadsticks from virtually any pizza place.  That just leaves the Chinese food.  Shouldn't be too hard to find.  Now...if you were looking for roasted horsemeat with Moroccan earwax, that would be slightly more of a challenge.

If those are your only three options, my vote is Chinese.  But please move to a place with more options.  :P

If those are your only three options, my vote is Chinese.  But please move to a place with more options.  :P

Isn't he in Pittsburgh?  From everything I've seen and heard of P'Burgh, the eating options are legion.

If that's true, then I heartily recommend the various restaurants in Murray Hill.  I forget street names, but there's a street with good Thai and Malaysian restaurants across from each other.  It's around the corner from Waffalonia, which is a small and excellent Belgian waffle place with a web presence.  Makes for a great dessert after your meal, or a snack on its own.

In addition, there are several Chinese restaurants/dumpling houses, Japanese restaurants, bubble tea shops, and even a restaurant specialising in South Indian food.
