Amarillo, TX: St. John's Church prepares for Holy Week
« on: April 27, 2013, 05:40:26 PM »
In Amarillo, Texas, the parish of St. John's Church is celebrating the onset of Holy Week. Fr. David Eckley, protopresbyter, spoke of the deep roots of the Orthodox faith.

From the article:
Quote
“Because we’re Orthodox, we’re worldwide and we’re one of the original churches,” said David Eckley, protopresbyter (priest) of St. John’s Eastern Orthodox Church. “We are the original church in the sense that it’s from the apostles that we were formed, Pentecostal.”

My only weakness is, well, never mind

He said he had a horrible house
I looked in it and learnt to shut my mouth

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

London is drowning, and I live by the river
