Health diabeties
« on: April 15, 2013, 01:55:20 AM »
I'm asking for your prayers. I've been having trouble managing my diabetes. There's no real symptoms showing up other than the higher blood sugar numbers t themselves and perhaps my toes being slightly cooler than they used to be (as in wear socks to bed in the winter) but not too bad. The numbers aren't horrendous, and aren't always up, but are consistently enough to keep me moving through medications to stronger ones periodically.

I do know what I need to do and what my short comings are and I do try to do what I need to. I just don't always try and when I do try I don't always succeed. I experience a lot of shame associated with this. Please prayer for me. Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Lord have mercy upon Maximum Bob, help him overcome his difficulties, and grant his good health!

(Make sure you get enough rest.  Not enough sleep messes with glucose levels, as does stress, etc.)
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Thank you again for your prayers, elephant .

Thank you again as well, quietmorning.

Liza, I appreciate your prayers and I don't think I realized that about the rest and stress fully.  I've been trying during Lent to go to bed earlier, but not as successful in that either.  Lord, have mercy.

Had a doctor's appointment for the diabetes which went well enough,  but walked straight out of the doctor's office into the flu. 103 degree temp., muscle aches, nausea, sore throat. Home from work today.  At this point looks like tomorrow too.

Ehhh!  I'm just getting over it myself. Horrible this year.

May God preserve you, ease your symptoms and return you to good health.
