I'm missing church (at least at my parish) for another week or two at least. Should I call my parish or anything?

When you say another week or two, how long have you been gone already?

Just last Sunday, and The Sunday that can two weeks prior, and some time further back this year.

Does your priest know that your job requires travel? Either way there's no harm in shooting him an email as an FYI thing.

Doesn't check email that often. I am not missing for work. I was tired or didn't feel well and needed rest or something. Now I have a mild injury and my car needs work before I drive that far. (A few small repairs prayer request thread.)

Whoops, I don't know where  I got that from. Anyway, I would probably call him and explain the car accident thing if he doesn't know already. At the very least he can pray for you as well.

I just sent him an email, since we were not connecting otherwise. I left him a message earlier mentioning the accident. I will be attending another closer parish, God-willing, for another week or two and then be back.

This really isn't a big deal. Missing a week or two happens. Honestly, don't sweat it.
