Things went so well today and +Glory to God in all things!+ I was chrismated and recieved into the church at 3pm this very afternoon (local time) and the parishoners are so sweet to me, got some really great gifts, had a coffee and something to eat before the anointing of oil service.

Just got home and did my eve prayers. Rest of this evening I will just enjoy with a meal and let all the emotions of the day sink in.
Happiness, greatfulness and a feeling of innerpeace best describes the feeling right now.

In the picture, it is me and my Godmother. Some more pictures might be provided at a later stage. Smiley

Many years! I'm very, very happy for you and all in your church. And what's more, the saints and the angels are rejoicing, too. Congratulations, my friend!

I bow humbly and quietly and say: thank you all so much for the sweet encouraging words.
This is the most special time ever in my life and sunday will be special too. I was given a huge beeswax candle and asked to bring it
to the divine liturgy and lit it when the time for the eucharist came.

God bless you my friends and I wish you a happy weekend. Smiley

Thank you all so much. Smiley Recieving the eucharist for the first time today was so great and the feeling of love, gratitude and something that must have been a inner kind of singing (perhaps it was my heart and the birds outside the church?)

Thank you so much for the kind words. She is so lovely and helpful and have followed me on every step since May last year.
I am so blessed and lucky to have Maud as my Godmother.

Almost a week later I still feel so good and like nothing else before in my life.

Will post some pictures later today after I have reviewed them. Smiley
