« on: April 02, 2013, 07:57:44 AM »
Of the social institutions in Bulgaria, the Orthodox Church returned the highest positive rating, according to a new study.

From the article:
According to poll results, there is an increase in the trust place in all institutions in the country.
Some 49% of the respondents said they placed trust in the Church.
My only weakness is, well, never mind

He said he had a horrible house
I looked in it and learnt to shut my mouth

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

I think couple of things have contributed to this positive rating. First, the revelation that the late Patriarch Maxim had not been an agent of the Communist regime and that Patriarch Neofit had not actively cooperated with the regiment, even though he was carried on the books as a government agent/informer. Second, the schism between the legitimate and the Alternative Synod may be coming to an end. For example, in 2010, Metropolitan Inokentii of the Alternative Synod called for the healing of the division. In any case, a very good development indeed. Many years!
