I don't have a link yet, but my cousin in Chicago who is in the know just emailed me about this, and he is a very reliable source. I also double checked with Fr. Athanasius of Chicago and he confirmed: this is real!

The people of Chicago are stupid, but they are not that stupid.

Besides, we have Rahm I to tell us Chicago values.

My son sent me a text saying to look out the window, my car had been stolen. I didnt understand what was going on.
I ran to the window but my care was still there. My heart was pounding.

I've seen Aprils fools jokes today about scent-based google searches, youtube being an 8 year long contest, Google maps showing you where buried treasure is, etc...

Most successful April Fool's was when my brother pretended to be ostensibly dead from a car / bike accident.

His commitment to lying in the cornfield in a position which truly looked utterly broken was laudable. As was the hysterical ranting and weeping of his best friend who delivered the "news" to my mother.

And people think I have a dark sense of humor . . .

It was.

She just didn't hear. She saw it.

He looked broken. I was always the family contortionist, but his body was uncanny.

Bike taken apart and its parts thrown about.

When my mother got within about 30 yards:
