Catechumenate comes to an end
« on: March 30, 2013, 05:31:30 PM »
+ Glory to God in all things! +
I spoke with my priest today (this evening, local time) and if God willingly, I will be chrismated and recieved into the church
on april 5th.

Basically I am so shocked and happy that I am literally shaking right now, in front of my computer.
No words can describe the feeling I feel no. I am just so greatful to God and so blessed, to deserve this.

Feels weird to share this emotion of the moment, but I do. Please bare with me.

Congratulations! May it be a happy baptism :).
Please correct me if I'm wrong - I'm still learning as I go along.

"This is the cross - to become dead to the whole world, to suffer sorrows, temptations and other passions of Christ; in bearing this cross with complete patience, we imitate Christ's passion and thus glorify our God the Father as His sons in grace and co-heirs of Christ." --St. Symeon the New Theologian

Congratulations and many years.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

It is good to read and know that your joy is in The Lord, God.
