Glory and Thanks be to God!

Instead of the usual requests for prayer through rough times that we get in the Prayer Forum, I thought I'd lighten things up with a "Slava Tiebe Boze!"

I passed my motorcycle safety course this afternoon and will finally be street legal to ride my Stella (150cc vintage style shifter scooter) on the streets of Baltimore and beyond.  At almost 38 years old, taking a test...any test...is not my idea of fun, so getting through the class and passing the skills test and written exam was a most nerve wracking experience.  I cannot remember being so nervous, even in my first driving test some 20 years ago!  I was praying to our Lord, the Theotokos, and Sts. Brendan and Christopher throughout which helped to calm me down considerably, especially during the exercises that I just wasn't quite getting.  Not too long ago I would have been a frustrated mess totally angry with myself but was able to be patient with myself and listen to my instructors.  We're not supposed to ramble here, so I'll just end with:

Glory to God!
Slava Boze!
Glory to God!

Glory and thanks to God for helping you with your studies and exam.

Lord, have mercy and keep Schultz safe on the road.

The right words for "Glory to God" would be "Slava Bogu." "Bozhe" is the form for the vocative case. "Bogu" is the dative case.
