Well, as you all know, my family isn't Orthodox, and well, I've been praying and hoping for their conversion for a long time, but to little avail. Anyhow, I'm hoping that maybe if I can get them--at least one of my parents--to attend the Paschal service with me on May 5th, that the beauty might finally get to them, and at best they'll decide to convert, or at least it will spark a larger interest in Orthodoxy amongst them. I don't know how I could get them to come, so advice would be nice. My father really values his sleeping time, so I don't know if he'll be willing to go to Church at like midnight and stay until almost 3:00AM. On the other hand, he's much less hostile to Orthodoxy than my mom. So please pray that somehow, someway, I'll be able to convince at least one of them to attend the Paschal service with me, and that maybe it'll get through to them. Thanks.

Like many others, I share with you the same concerns for my family. Let us pray together and for each other.

Family and faith is never a easy subject. I have my issues with the subject for the last 2 1/2 years and we have some sort of a mutual understanding. God is the only one that can work their hearts truly in opinon and being as humble and respectfully to them as possible is the best approach.
Yes, let us pray for them, for us and for anything that has issus with their family and relatives because of the faith.
Gospodi pomiluj! Gospodi pomiluj! Gospodi pomiluj!

The meaning of life is to acquire the grace of the Holy Spirit. Saint Seraphim of Sarov
Thomas said to him: “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28)

May God be with you and show you family the beauty of Orthodox Christianity...Pray dear brother and God willing your prayers will be answered. I have one suggestion. Find a nice documentary on youtube or borrow one if you can and ask whether either one of your family members might be interested in watching it with you...No pressure, just ask.
