Victory

Whatever happened to those victories that were won in the church and the body of Christ ... believe and pray you gain a victory or triumph?
Jesus Prayer : the invocation of the name of Jesus, most commonly, 'Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me' , although there are a number of variant forms. Not merely a technique or a Christian mantra, but a prayer addressed to the person of Jesus Christ, expressing our living faith in Him as Son of God and Savior.

I'm not sure anyone knows what type of victories you are referring to. Perhaps you could expand upon your question.

I have seen many.  You have not?
I would be happy to agree with you, but then both of us would be wrong.

I've had what you would call personal victories, but not anything major.

Personal victories and stories of triumph?...

My friend, we are saved one at a time.  We will all stand before Christ on that last day to face judgment for our OWN sins.  Personal victories are the only kind that count.  I saw many "victories" in my "charismatic" days.  I also saw that without filling the void left by the departing demons with Christ, the resulting fall was worse than were the person was to begin with.  It does no good to win one big battle and then lose the war.  We win by one small personal victory at time and over time.
I would be happy to agree with you, but then both of us would be wrong.

Yes, I follow and understand you. (Small personal victories over time that add up to the final conclusion)
